This is a rough sketch for a recipe illustration for our food blog (www.seasoningforeverypalate.wordpress.com). The recipe is by our wonderful friend Thais, who gave this Brazilian dish a surprising American twist. Today I worked out the concept and rough composition for the illustration in this rough pencil sketch. (The sketch was so rough that I decided to do a little digital cleanup in Painter.)
