On Thursday, we took an afternoon walk at Long Hill Gardens, here in Beverly, MA. The light was beautiful and I took a lot of pictures. This one is a photo of the road leading from the apple orchard to up to the main house and gardens. I especially like the dappled light on the road (newly paved!). I think I might try to paint this scene. Tonight I used Painter to obscure a sign with some digital pastel, and then cropped the image to line up the edges of the road with the corners of the image.
