Tonight after dinner, I finally had a chance to get back to this little sketch. (I am drawing this on my iPhone screen, using the Brushes app.) I started by reworking the bridge a bit. I also created a curve in the road in the foreground, and added some mountains in the background. I also added shadows cast by the tree trunks. This still needs some more cleanup, but it is getting there.
