Lilacs and Main House at Long Hill

Another picture from our late afternoon walk at Long Hill. This was May 17 and everything was in bloom. I liked the way the lilacs looked with the house in the background. (Long Hill Gardens, also known as Sedgwick Gardens, was once a private estate, but is now open to the public.) Those little blue flowers are forget-me-nots, blooming all around Long Hill this time of year. The first time I saw them, I thought I was dreaming.
