Here is the landscape painting that I started on June 11. This is one of my "Mountain Daydreams," paintings of the Colorado Rocky Mountains done from memory and imagination. This is acrylic paint used as watercolor on watercolor paper. On the 13th, I added more red-brown washes to try to get the characteristic color of the Colorado rocks and soil. I also added more color to the sky.
