Feijoada (Recipe Illustration as of Nov. 3, 2016)

I worked on this project yesterday, an illustration for a recipe for feijoada (Brazil's black bean stew); the recipe and illustration will soon be published on our food blog, seasoningforeverypalate.wordpress.com.  I decided to organize this illustration in a circular pattern, like a mandala,  with black beans in the middle, surrounded by other ingredients, side dishes, and garnishes.. Yesterday I finally finished applying the background color.  I still want to even out the color, make some of the other colors brighter for more contrast, and do some general cleanup. But basically this is what my illustration is going to look like.
