I went to the studio at Porter Mill this morning and did some more work on this project. I am covering a heart-shaped candy box with collage/decoupage designs created from printed metallic ribbon. Over time (too much time), I have already created purple and orange stripes on the box top. But today I concentrated on the bottom of the box (which says "Turtles" and lists nutritional information.) I am covering the surface with mostly brown pieces of ribbon, with some purple and green floral accents.
