This is a work in progress, a small oil bar painting (8 x 10 inches). My reference is a photo that I took in early September of a branch of hydrangeas turning pink. (My reference is posted here on October 22.) Today I worked on the background, trying to even it out a bit, and I also adjusted the shape of some of the blossoms and added a few branches.
