Here is the project I have been working on, a wooden codfish I am decorating to be auctioned off in a fundraiser for Marblehead Festival of Art. This year, my fish will have a pattern of seashells where you would expect to see scales. Today I outlined the seashell shapes in light brown colored pencil. Later, the brown pencil lines will be covered with metallic gold marker. I also tried out a bit of turquoise colored pencil in narrow spaces where it may be hard to use a brush.
