I worked on this painting today. My painting reference, posted here April 14, is a digitally altered snapshot from a childhood trip to Estes Park, Colorado. Today I made small changes as this painting nears the finish line. I repainted the bottom half of the sky, made a change to line of the mountain of the far right, and added translucent white wash to the blue and purple mountain ranges. Nearly finished.
