Lovely Guimarães (Watercolor) as of August 8, 2020

This afternoon, I worked on this project, a watercolor inspired by a photo that I took in Portugal last summer. (My painting reference is posted here July 24.) Today I began my work with a pencil and a ruler, trying to straighten out some lines.  Then I did some work on the first building on the right, correcting lines and adding detail.  The color of the building is shifting a bit. What I am going for is the faded pastels that I saw on the streets of Guimarães.
