Today I finally had a chance to get back to this project. This painting is inspired by a photo that I took in July 2019 during a visit to Portugal. (Photo reference posted here July 25.) I walked over the Dom Luis Bridge with Mauro. The bridge connects Porto with its "twin city" Vila Nova de Gaia. Today I worked on the foreground, the rooftops of Vila Nova de Gaia.
