I am still putting gesso (primer) on my wooden codfish cutout, but I tried out my idea for Coral on the computer. This is a photo of my unpainted wooden cutout. I added the patterns and colors in Painter with digital pastel. (I also added posterizing effect to the background.) I will use this as a guide when I paint. I think these colors will work. I want them to "pop" like the colors in a color field painting. To be continued. . .
