Here is "Coral (A Color Field Cod)", hanging on my wall. (I needed to test out the hanging hardware.) I took a photo from the side to show how she looks in 3-D. (Coral is my contribution to the Cod Auction, to benefit Marblehead Festival of Art.) She is a coral cod, a real live species with a bright orange body and blue spots, that reminded me of the color field paintings I did in back in college. I have been painting the sides and back, and finally added the hanging hardware. She is just about done, though I may add another coat to the back, which is painted blue, like her spots. On Sunday, I will drive down to Marblehead to deliver her. I will miss her. . .
