This photo is the inspiration for my next painting. I took this photo in June of 2018. We we were visiting my home state of Colorado and doing some sight-seeing with old friends. This was taken on the day we went to Breckenridge and I loved seeing the snow on the ski trails, even though it was summer. This photo brings back lovely memories, but it is not quite ready to be a photo reference: two cars, road signs, construction barriers. So I opened the image in Painter and got to work.
