Here is my oil bar painting-in-progress as it looked on December 18th. I had been having trouble with the shape of one of the apples but finally corrected the problem by studying my photo reference (posted here October 17th). As I continue to paint the leaves, I am trying to create the same diagonal as in the photo reference, with yellow-green leaves dominating the top left part of the canvas, and dark leaves in shadow dominating the lower right.
