Mountain Sunset (Painting as of October 16, 2023)

Here is my painting as it looked on October 16th, at the end of a long day that included two painting sessions. This photo was taken at 9 pm., I began by sketching in the composition with acrylic paint, including the shapes of the cloud formations. 

Then I began to use pasted paper to establish the main shapes of the mountains, but  I did a lot of work on the sky.  To be continued. . . .
