I have been working on this commissioned portrait of four children, and here is how it looked on November 21, 2025. I am not posting progress on this project as frequently as I usually do for my other work. Because this is a painting of children, I am only posting versions of my work that I have shown to the client, and that I have permission to post. Anyway, at this point, I was happy with the likeness of the children, but there were things to fix and a lot of cleanup yet to do. You can see that I was in the process of adding the Disney gear that the kids were wearing. My first goal was to paint this moment of four happy children standing together, but I also wanted to capture enough specific details to create a visual memory of this moment. I was continuing to work on the castle behind them, and as you can see, was having quite a struggle with the foreground. The geometric pattern of the pavement had been helpful earlier in the process as I figured out how and where each kid was standing, but at this point, it was creating some extra challenges that I was going to have to fix. To be continued. . . .
