Impressions of a Garden

Yesterday I drove up to New Hampshire to meet Mel at a UNH event which was held in a beautiful garden. I especially liked the border of flowers against a stone wall. I took a picture of it with my phonecam, but the image was too small to show the detail and too blurry when I enlarged it. So I used Painter IX to create a clone using digital watercolor and the impressionist brush. It was fun to watch the image emerge, and forget everything but this magical garden, just for a few minutes.
