Southern Colorado Landscape

This is a picture of the scenery between Pueblo and Colorado Springs. I cropped this image from a photo I took during a visit to my home state. You can see the arid landscape in the foreground and the blue mountains in the distance. I still feel very connected to friends and family from home, and Colorado has influenced me in many ways, from my attitudes to my art to my cooking. I am posting this tonight because I am doing some Colorado cooking, making green chili (a recipe from Pueblo) to take to a pot-luck up in New Hampshire tomorrow. I hope they'll be ready for those jalapenos!
