Here is another of the watermedia landscapes I have been working on, drawing on my memories of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Last week at Red Brick, I went back to this landscape and added some dark purple to the more distant mountain. I added contrast because I was afraid that the original line that began this painting would get lost. Right now, the contrast is a little too stark, but I will work on that problem later this week.
