This is the most recent of the set of little drawings I am working on. These are made from an old acrylic painting that I had started, but never finished. A few weeks ago, I cut it into nine equal pieces, and am transforming those pieces into small drawings. In this one, you can see part of the original painting because the mountain and sky in the largest rectangle have not been changed. But in the other areas, I drew lines with pencil and straightedge, and then used conte crayon to make something new, using the Colorado colors of the original painting.
