I have taken many walks around the Cummings Center pond this summer, and have taken many photos there. This photo shows one of my favorite views, the water seen through the trees. Today I opened this image in Painter IX and used a light color overlay on the sky and water. I also posterized the image. The pond is beautiful in the summer light, but I am already looking forward to fall and seeing how the pond looks as the leaves begin to change color.
