Last night I tried one more version of the blue roses pattern I have been working with over the past few days. (To make this digital art, I used my photo of a single rose to create a digital woodcut. Then I made a pattern from the digital woodcut, using Painter IX software. Then I used a pattern pen in Painter IX to create this image.) This time I was happier with the composition of the inner square.
