This is the second print that I made on Thursday night in my printmaking class at Red Brick Studios. I used some embossed foil paper to create texture, and used string to create the lines near the bottom of the image. I have seen this red color in the mountains of Colorado, my home state,, as in the Red Rocks Ampitheater near Denver or Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. In fact, Colorado is named for the red color of the rocks and the soil.
