It's a cold spring, here north of Boston, with temperatures in the high forties, maybe fifty degrees on a good day.  But even so, some brave flowers are already appearing.  This image began with a photo I took during a walk this week at Long Hill Gardens (in Beverly, MA). Some of these tiny blue flowers are starting to appear in the grass.  (Later, they will carpet some areas under the trees.)  Tonight I cropped this composition out of the original photo, and then posterized in using Painter.
