Twenty Minute Still Life

This is a digital sketch in progress; I have been working on it since Monday, five minutes per day. (Well, tonight I might have gone to six or even seven minutes; I got carried away.) I am using digital pastel in Painter. I started this project because Monday was so hectic (my daughter's moving day) and I wanted to fit in some art, even just for a few minutes. But I kept going because it was fun to see what I could do in five minutes. Tonight I worked on the background, and corrected the shape of the vase.
