Little Red Leaves at Halibut Point

This is a photograph that I took during my recent adventure at Halibut Point up in Rockport, Massachusetts. I took lots of photos of granite cliffs and dramatic ocean views, but I also took photos of some of the details along the way. I liked these little red leaves and the contrast with the texture of the dried grass. I cropped the original image to get this composition.

Halibut point? Was the fish named for the point or vice versa?
