Heavy Snow on Branches (Posterized Photo)

Tonight I used Painter to edit and posterize a photo that I took back on January 12, after one of our apparently unending snowstorms. Before I posterized the original photo, I cropped it and then sharpened the focus, and increased the contrast. After I transferred the image back to iPhoto, I cropped it one more time to get this composition. Snow can be a huge inconvenience, and can make it difficult to do the simplest things. But it helps me to remember that snow can also be very, very beautiful.
