I took this photo during a morning walk at Long Hill Gardens, here in Beverly, MA. I took some pictures of sapphire berries, with drops of rain from a morning storm still on the leaves. Tonight I cropped one of my photos to get this composition. Until I moved here, I had never seen or heard of sapphire berries, with color so bright that I couldn't believe they were real.
