I went up to the studio this afternoon and spent about an hour working on this collage, a chicken made up of paper patterns. (This is an idea that came to me last year while I was admiring some real live chickens at Long Hill Gardens.) Today I added some more white pattern to the body of the bird, and also added more pattern to the wing. This project is slow going, but working on this chicken always makes me smile.
