Here is the third and last version of my photo of spring blossom. For this one, I used Painter 12 to apply a woodcut effect, adjusting the controls to get the black line to fall where I wanted it to go. Perhaps this is a lot of fuss over blossoming trees. But I don't think so. When the trees blossom, I always think of one of my favorite poems, "Loveliest of Trees" by A.E. Housman.
