Today I used Painter to create this digital woodcut from a photo that I took during a recent trip to Montreal. This was on Rue St. Paul in Vieux Montreal. I took the photo early in the day, so the street was fairly empty. I used some color overlays to mute the colors and patterns of tourists' clothing, just to eliminate some distractions. Then I posterized the image, and added the woodcut effect.
