I have been working on this necklace for several days and finally finished it this morning. I must have strung and restrung this one three times, due to modifying the design, but also due to miscounting the beads! Oh, well. I am happy with the result. I started with vintage glass beads in a plum color and combined them with small beads of dyed jade in a cherry pink. The metallic accent beads are silver plate as well as sterling silver. I used stretchy cord so there is no need for a clasp.
