Here is the painting that I have been working on all week. This is small landscape painted with acrylics used with water, on watercolor paper. The subject matter is the Colorado Rocky Mountains, painted from my imagination and memories of my home state. This morning I added a little bit of purple shadow in the lower third of the painting, and also balanced the light areas across the top of the mountain in the foreground. Now I am ready to say this is finished.
