I have been working on this painting for several days. This is a small landscape painted with acrylics on paper, painted from imagination and memories of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Yesterday I decided to add more contrast, so this morning I added a wash in the main color (red-orange or bittersweet) to the bottom third of the painting, following the lines that were already there. Next step is just to add a little bit more purple shadow to the same area and this will be done.
