This is the painting I started yesterday, a small landscape done with acrylic paint on paper. I am using the acrylic paint with water. This is one of my "mountain daydreams", painted from my imagination and memories of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This morning I added a purple wash to the lower part of the painting, and a very pale purple to the sky. This is a work in progress. . . .
