This morning I was looking through some old sketchbooks (actually just trying to find some blank pieces of paper), and I came across this little drawing. I am not sure when I drew this one, but probably it was quite a while ago. This is a pen and ink sketch of a prayer plant (aka maranta). The plant is very colorful, with lime green and hot pink, but for this drawing, I concentrated on the beautiful patterns in the leaves.
