Face of Woman with Harp (Detail of Ghost Drawing)

This week I am posting closeup photos of some of my figure drawings, to focus on the faces. All these drawings were done at Porter Mill Studio in a figure drawing workshop. This is another view of the model playing a harp as in the line drawing I posted a few days ago, but this time the style is what I call a "ghost drawing". I use graphite bar, but work in on its side, concentrating on positive and negative space. For a few fine lines in the face, I use the tip of the graphite bar.
