Yesterday's post was a very rough sketch for an illustration for a recipe that will soon be published on our food blog, seasoningforeverypalate.wordpress.com. The recipe will be for feijoada, a black bean stew that is Brazil's national dish. This is in the family recipe box for sure, introduced to us through life-long ties to Brazilian friends who have become family. Today I started working out the layout for the illustration, based on yesterday's very rough sketch.
