This is the wooden codfish I am decorating for the Marblehead Festival of Arts fundraiser. This year I am painting a seashell design on my fish, and I have named this fish "Shelli". Yesterday I figured out the color scheme. I mixed some turquoise paint with iridescent pearl and I liked the color. I used the color to make a small sample of the pattern. But I had mixed up too much paint, so I decided to use it to start painting the wooden codfish. I was happy with the way the paint captures the light. To be continued.
