While cleaning up my studio, I recently came across a set of exercises and paintings from a watercolor class I took back in 1998, and decided to post them here. (This is a way to honor the memory of the young teacher, who died far too soon.) This was another color exercise. This time the goal was to mix a variety of colors that could be used to paint portraits and figures. I am not sure whether I was using watercolors or acrylics with water.
