We had the first heavy snow of the season last night. Snow is a big inconvenience, but it is so beautiful! I love the way snow looks first thing, while it is still on the branches, before wind or rising temperatures make it disappear. This is a close-up cropped from a photo that I took this morning, of snow on our dogwood tree.
