This morning I worked on this painting of Dillon Lake. My painting reference is a digitally modified photo from a trip to Colorado in 1978 (posted here April 27.) Today I started at the top, and modified the lines of the mountains and shapes of the clouds. Then I worked a bit on the shore lines, the water, and the island. To be continued. . . .
