This morning I worked on this painting. This is part of a series based on memories of the mountains of Colorado, my home state. My painting reference, posted here April 27, is a digitally modified snapshot from a trip to Dillon Lake in the 1970s. Today I modified some of the mountain shapes, worked on the sky, and then added some green to the closest mountain and to the trees in the foreground. To be continued. . . .
