Today I continued working on this painting. I am painting a memory inspired by a photo from a trip I took to Estes Park, Colorado, as a child. A digitally modified version of the original photo is posted here, April 14. This morning I worked some more on the top line of the mountains, trying to get the perspective and the shapes right. This is better, but I am not there yet. I want one sweeping line. . . .
