The last time I worked on this painting was September 1, so it has been a while. Although the past few weeks have been too hectic to paint, I haven't forgotten about this project. This watercolor is based on a photo that I took in Portugal last summer, during a walk over the Dom Luis Bridge. (My photo reference is posted here July 25.) Today I worked on adding some "landmarks" to make sure that I don't loose the perspective or the curve of the river as I fill in the scene.
