Outcropping West of Denver (Painting as of October 15, 2023)

Here is my painting as it looked on October 15, 2023. At this point, the basic shapes were in place.  I began to add light to the painting, including the sky and the slopes, using layers of translucent paint, as well as some pasted paper.  I also used touches of pink as well as pale pink outline, to represent light hitting the tops of the mountain slopes and the edges of the stone. Almost done.
