In the summer, the best time to go for ice cream is just before sunset. (Here in Massachusetts, there are lots of choices, from the latest new franchise to the old fashioned local stands.) Going for ice cream on a summer evening is a double treat. The ice cream is wonderful, and so is the sky. This photo, taken with my phonecam, is a souvenir of a recent evening outing for ice cream. Tonight I cropped the image to get this composition.
