View of Quarry at Halibut Point

My unexpected adventure this weekend was a trip up to Halibut Point State Park in Rockport, MA. Although I have lived in Massachusetts for quite some time, I have never been at Halibut Point before. I was amazed at the dramatic setting: granite cliffs, a quarry, huge tide pools, and ocean vistas. Despite the dramatic cliffs, the trails are easy enough, and I took pictures along the way. This is a view looking down at the quarry and out towards the ocean.
